For construction and civil engineering

Get site updates, drawings and paperwork out of the group chat.

One app for site updates, photos, timesheets and estimates, so the site and the office always see the same thing.

Sound familiar?

The problems.

  • Site photos and updates get buried in group chats.
  • Quotes and estimates take hours in a spreadsheet only one person understands.
  • Timesheets, materials and deliveries are written on paper and typed up later.
  • Clients ask how the job is going and you have to go and find out.
  • Nobody is sure which drawing is the latest one.

What I can build for you

The fixes.

01

A site diary app

Your team logs progress, photos and issues from their phone. If the signal drops, it saves and sends later.

02

An estimating tool

Your rates and formulas in one place, so a quote takes minutes, comes out the same every time and goes out as a clean PDF.

03

A client portal

Clients sign in and see progress, photos and documents without calling you.

04

Timesheets and materials

Hours and orders entered on site, with totals ready for payroll and invoices.

05

Document control

One place for drawings and their versions, so the site always opens the current one.

Proof

I've worked on ERP and operations systems, the software a business runs its orders and stock through, and built a pricing and stock engine that works from a business's own numbers.

  1. Step 01

    A free first call

Tell me what's slowing you down. I ask a lot of questions, and if software is the wrong fix I'll say so.

  2. Step 02

A written plan with a fixed quote

What I'll build, what it won't do, how long it takes and one price. You know the number before I write a line.

  3. Step 03

    The build

Development or automation, shown to you early and often on your own phone, so nothing is a surprise at the end.

  4. Step 04

    Launch

Live on the App Store, Google Play or your website. I handle the store accounts and the paperwork that stops most first-timers.

  5. Step 05

    Ongoing monthly support

Software needs looking after. A monthly plan covers fixes, small changes, store updates and someone watching for the things that break quietly.

How a project runs

Plain steps, one price.

Small jobs start at $50. Bigger work gets a fixed quote after a free call.

Three promises, in writing

  • The fix-it promise

One fixed price, agreed in writing before I start. If what I deliver doesn't do what the plan says, I fix it at no extra cost.

  • You own it

You own the code, the accounts and the app store listings. No lock-in.

  • A fast first reply

I usually reply within an hour.

After launch, I stay on as your engineer on a monthly plan, for as long as it's useful to you.

Questions

Asked a lot.

Will my site team actually use it?

Only if it's quicker than what they do now. That's the test I build to: big buttons, few screens, and tried on a cheap phone with gloves-on thumbs in mind.

Can it work alongside Excel?

Yes. I can build in imports and exports for spreadsheets, so nothing gets trapped in a new system.

Do you work with CAD or engineering design software?

No. I'm not a CAD specialist. I build the business side around it: tracking, paperwork, clients and reports.
